Dear brothers and sisters,

Last week some of our children gathered at the church to decorate our parish Christmas tree. And thus our spiritual preparation for the Great Feast began to take on a physical character.

Attached below is the schedule of services and events for the Nativity of the Lord. A full calendar for the month of January will follow soon. We ask everyone to especially note the following:

No midnight service

Please take note that there will be no midnight Nativity service in our church. The festal All-Night Vigil will begin at 6 pm on the eve, and in the morning we will begin the hours and Divine Liturgy at 9:30 am.

Availability of Confession

All, who desire to partake of the Holy Mysteries at the Divine Liturgy on Nativity must approach for confession, and worthily prepare by reading the appointed prayer rule, fasting, and attendance of services. Time for Confession on the feast itself will be very limited. Confession can be made during or immediately after any of the services leading up to the feast, or by appointment with the rector. If absolutely necessary, it will be possible to have confession on the Feast only from 8:30 am until the start of Divine Liturgy.

Parish Yolka

Mark your calendars: We invite everyone, and especially our children, to take part in our traditional Christmas reception (yolka), following Divine Liturgy on Sunday, January 14th.

We hope to see everyone very soon!

With love in Christ,
