There will be no services next Saturday and Sunday!

Dear brothers and sisters, happy Sunday!

Today we continue the celebration of our Patronal feast of the Pentecost and Sunday! :) We have celebrated a joyful Divine Liturgy and, by the grace of God, today we are united again in prayer and Holy Communion. And, of course, we always remember in our prayers those who could not get to the temple.

Tomorrow we begin the Apostoles Fast... a good reason to stop a little in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and add a little more silence, peace, hope, mercy and kindness to our life. And the Lord, as we undoubtedly know, never leaves us. We just need to make a little effort to hear and respond to his presence in our lives. We have the Church of Christ foir this and divine services with prayer and fasting. And everything will certainly be fine, despite many of our possible troubles and experiences. In life, a miracle is hidden in every moment.

And, dear ones, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that THERE WILL BE NO DIVINE SERVICES IN OUR CHURCH NEXT SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. Next time we will meet on July 10 and 11 at the evening service and Liturgy. And on Monday, the 12th, it is already the feast of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.

May the Lord and the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos be with you all! Have a good coming week.

With love for the Lord and prayer,
rector hieromonk Nikon

P.S. An amazingly beautiful photo. It's like a picture found on the Internet from some Cathedral. But in fact, this is photo from the Holy Altar of our church. The main and incomprehensible Sacrament is about to happen - bread and wine, without changing their appearance and consistency, will become the real Body and Blood of Christ. For the whole world and for each of us so that there is not a shadow of doubt about the love of the Heavenly Father for human!

ABOUT MASKS AND SAFETY MEASURES.

Christ is Risen, dear ones!

By the grace of God, social life, disrupted by the spread of COVID-19, is being restored step by step and gradually we are returning to our usual way of life. However, the danger to human health is still far from over, and we continue to comply with the necessary sanitary safety measures.

As you know, some time ago, the authorities of our state allowed to abandon the use of medical masks for those who are healthy and vaccinated against coronavirus.

In our temple, we adhere to the same way: if you are healthy, do not have symptoms of diseases or infections, and have taken a vaccine, then you can refuse to wear a mask at will. Otherwise, you will need to continue using the mask. And, of course, if you feel unwell, and, moreover, know about your possible illness, please stay at home and take time for your health, which is a gift from God.

Take care of each other. God's blessing be with you all!

With love in the Christ and prayer,
rector hieromonk Nikon
